You don't need to be brand new to Facebook or Instagram to apply. If you're accepted into the Breakthrough bonus program, you’ll get an invitation to set up Facebook Content Monetization. Once your onboarding is complete, you will begin earning money across reels, stories, photos, and text posts—and qualify for up to $5,000 in extra Breakthrough bonuses to help you get started during your first 90 days.
Eligibility for the Breakthrough bonus program
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Be based in the United States.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Have an existing presence on a third party social app that you can link or already have linked during the application process. Note: Meta will calculate the bonus based on an evaluation of your social presence.
Have or create an Instagram professional account and Facebook Page.
Applications from creators with at least 20,000 followers on another social app will be prioritized for review.
